Although FirstEnergy Park is a gem of a ballpark, it’s not exactly located in an area that might be convenient to the rest of the cities on your baseball road trip. Located on the east side of the state, just a handful of miles from the ocean (and about an hour from Atlantic City), you’ve got to head off the beaten path a little to visit Lakewood. That said, it’s less than 75 miles from Philadelphia and New York City, which means that if you’re in either city, you should make time for a day’s trip to FirstEnergy Stadium. You won’t regret it. Parking at FirstEnergy Park is $3, which is about average among South Atlantic League ballparks. The parking lot is vast and you have just a short walk to the gates after leaving your car.
