With an official attendance of 10,000, you’ve got a lot of seating options when you visit Prince George’s Stadium. This ballpark is the biggest in the Eastern League, and despite its size, the team keeps things simple with three pricing options for fans.
Those who wish to be as close to the action as possible will want a seat in the Box Seating section, which is a 24-section area at field level. Sections 101 through 106 are protected by the netting behind home plate. Odd-numbered sections are down the first base line and the even-numbered sections run along the third base line. The entire Box Seating section is comprised of plastic box seats that cost $15 in advance or $17 on game day. Buying in advance is smart, but even at the lower price, these tickets are expensive by Eastern League standards. At the two closest Eastern League parks (Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg and The Diamond in Richmond), front-row tickets range from $11 to $14.
The Reserved Seating section is a box seat section directly above the Box Seating section. There are six Reserved Seating sections, all of which are essentially back behind home plate. Tickets here are $12 for adults and $10 for youths, seniors and members of the military when bought in advance. On game day, the prices jump to $14 and $12. These seats provide great sightlines, but given their distance from the field, they’re still a little pricy.
The cheapest seats in the park belong to the General Admission section, which is made up of aluminum bleachers. This section runs down both base lines and gives you a good view of the field without being too hard on your wallet. General Admission tickets cost $10 for adults and $7 for youths, seniors and members of the military when bought in advance, and $12 and $9 when bought on game day.
Overall, there’s not a bad seat in Prince George’s Stadium. The high prices might not thrill you, but remember that you’re saving $3 to $5 by not having to pay for parking. When you factor in these cost savings, your expenses at this ballpark will be about the same as any in the Eastern League.
