Chase Field is situated in downtown Phoenix, which means that baseball fans have a long list of parking options available to them. As is always the case at MLB ballparks, the rate that you pay for parking largely depends on how close to the park you are. If you want to leave your vehicle as close to Chase Field as possible, you can expect to pay in the $25 to $30 range for the game. If you’re willing to walk a few blocks, however, it’s relatively easy to find event parking in the $10 range.
A lot of fans park at the Phoenix Convention Center, which is just a short walk from Chase Field and has event parking in the $15 range. Similarly, the parking garage at Footprint Center, home to the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, charges between $12 and $15 to park. It’s just a couple of blocks from the ballpark. If you’re visiting Chase Field for an afternoon game during the summer, focus on garages and covered parking lots, as they’ll do a good job of preventing the interior of your car from being scorching by the time you return after the game.
Many fans take public transit to Diamondbacks games, and doing so is very convenient if you’re staying anywhere near a Valley Metro Rail light rail station. The 3rd Street Jefferson/3rd Street Washington stations, which are commonly known as Convention Center/Ballpark/Arena, are situated just a few minutes’ walk from Chase Field.
