Few prospects have received as much fanfare on their way to the big leagues in recent years as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The son of a hall of famer, Guerrero Jr. put up monstrous numbers in the minor leagues before arriving in Toronto. Since then, he has not only been a fan favorite, but has also demonstrated prodigious power at the plate.

10. 447 feet: September 30, 2022, at Rogers Centre
Guerrero Jr. hit 32 home runs in a successful 2022 campaign, and only one traveled farther than the homer he hit at Rogers Centre on September 30. That blast, his 31st of the season, was a 447-foot shot off Boston’s Nick Pivetta that reached the second deck in left field. Guerrero Jr. punctuated his home run swing with an impressive drop of the bat after making contact with a whopping exit velocity of 117.5 mph.
7 (t). 450 feet: August 1, 2019, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards
As a rookie in 2019, Guerrero Jr. played in 123 games and finished sixth in voting for the American League Rookie of the Year. He also hit 15 home runs, including a towering shot in Baltimore on the first day of August. Guerrero Jr. reached down to connect with a cut fastball by Dillon Tate, lifting the baseball 450 feet and into the seats behind the cross-aisle in left field. The home run, Guerrero Jr.’s 13th of the campaign, left his bat at 113.6 mph.
7 (t). 450 feet: October 2, 2021, at Rogers Centre
The best season of Guerrero Jr.’s young career so far is unquestionably 2021, when he led baseball with 48 home runs. The longest of those blasts was #47, and it came in the final weekend of the season. Guerrero Jr. teed up a changeup from Baltimore’s John Means, crushing the baseball with an exit velocity of 111.7 mph and sending it 450 feet off the facing of the third deck at Rogers Centre.
7 (t). 450 feet: May 3, 2023, at Fenway Park
Baseballs soaring over Fenway Park’s Green Monster are a thing of beauty, and Guerrero Jr. gave Blue Jays fans a reason to cheer with this type of home run early in May of 2023. Guerrero Jr. connected with an inside pitch from Nick Pivetta with an exit velocity of 110 mph, pounding the baseball over the Green Monster and into the Boston night. The blast was the slugger’s longest of the year.
5 (t). 451 feet: May 14, 2019, at Oracle Park
The longest home run that Guerrero Jr. hit during his 2019 rookie campaign came in the middle of May in San Francisco. With two runners on base, Guerrero Jr. lifted a low changeup from Reyes Moronta, connecting with an exit velocity of 113.7 mph and sending the baseball several rows into the seats in left-center field. The 451-foot long ball was Guerrero Jr.’s second of his big league career, coming just five innings after his first MLB home run.
5 (t). 451 feet: June 14, 2021, at Fenway Park
Guerrero Jr.’s 22nd home run of 2021 came at Fenway on June 14, and was a 451-foot shot hit off Matt Barnes. Barnes threw a looping curveball that Guerrero Jr. clobbered with an exit velocity of 114.7 mph, sending the baseball over the Green Monster. The home run was the fifth-longest hit at Fenway in ’21.
4. 456 feet: April 15, 2021, at Kauffman Stadium
Wearing #42 on his back in honor of Jackie Robinson on MLB’s annual Jackie Robinson Day, Guerrero Jr. got his third home run of 2021 in fine form off Royals pitcher Kyle Zimmer. The right-hander threw a slider on the inner half of the zone that Guerrero Jr. clobbered with an exit velocity of 112.8 mph. The baseball flew 456 feet into the seats in left-center field, providing a nice souvenir for a fan who made a nifty grab.
3. 461 feet: May 24, 2021, at TD Ballpark
One of the challenges of the Blue Jays 2021 season is that the club played “home” games in three ballparks — TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Sahlen Field in Buffalo, and Rogers Centre in Toronto. The frequent change in scenery proved to be no issue for Guerrero Jr. His 14th long ball of the campaign, which came in May in Dunedin, was a 461-foot shot off Tampa Bay’s Ryan Yarbrough. Guerrero Jr. connected with an exit velocity of 117.4 mph and drove the baseball over the batter’s eye at the Florida ballpark.
2. 465 feet: May 16, 2021, at TD Ballpark
Of the 48 round-trippers that Guerrero Jr. hit during his breakout 2021 campaign, none went farther than his May 16 blast against the Phillies. Playing at TD Ballpark in Dunedin because of pandemic-related border restrictions, Guerrero Jr. connected with an exit velocity of 114.4 mph with a changeup from Brandon Kintzler. The towering, 465-foot-long ball soared out of the ballpark, giving Blue Jays fans in Florida something to cheer about.
1. 467 feet: April 10, 2022, at Rogers Centre
The longest home run of Guerrero Jr.’s career was his first homer of 2022 — a rocket ship of a blast in front of the Rogers Centre faithful. Guerrero Jr. connected with an elevated slider from Texas pitcher Spencer Howard, showing fans a swing that was very reminiscent of Vladimir Guerrero Sr. The home run swing had an exit velocity of 117.9 mph, making it one of the hardest-hit balls in the major leagues that season, and flew 467 to the WestJet Flight Deck in center field. It was the 11th-longest home run hit in 2022 and the longest hit at Rogers Centre in 2022.
