Bratwursts, beer and home runs — three things to enjoy during your visit to Milwaukee’s American Family Field.

In this list, we’re counting down the 10 longest home runs at American Family Field as of the conclusion of the 2021 season. It’s important to note that these home runs are only from 2015 onward, when MLB’s Statcast began to officially track the distance of each MLB home run.

This list features a couple of all-time Brewers greats, a memorable first career home run and an appearance from two guys who are known for their long bombs.

Here’s a look at the 10 longest home runs at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

9. Austin Slater — 461 feet

San Francisco’s Austin Slater won’t have any trouble remembering his first major league home run — in part because of how long it was. On June 8 of 2017, in just his fourth game as a big leaguer, Slater connected on a fastball from Paolo Espino and drove the ball 461 feet to left-center field with an exit velocity of 110.6 mph. The baseball smacked off the bottom of the scoreboard frame, giving the rookie a first home run to remember.

8 (t). Christian Yelich — 462 feet

It shouldn’t be a surprise to see longtime Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich on this list, and he makes an appearance thanks to a 462-foot blast on June 20, 2019. Yelich’s 28th long ball of the season came off a Tanner Roark slider, soaring into the upper rows of the second deck in right field. The home run had an exit velocity of 114.2 mph and is still the longest homer of Yelich’s career.

8 (t). Paul DeJong — 462 feet

Wearing jersey #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson on April 15, 2019, Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong squared up a fastball from Freddy Peralta and pummeled the ball 462 feet to the elevated party deck in left-center field. The blast was DeJong’s fourth home run of 2019 and had an exit velocity of 109.7 mph. DeJong hit 30 home runs and earned his first all-star berth in 2019, but none traveled farther than this one.

7. Josh VanMeter — 463 feet

It takes some muscle to reach the seats in the second deck at American Family Field, and even more muscle to drive a baseball to the upper half of the second deck. That’s exactly where a home run from Cincinnati’s Josh VanMeter landed during a game on July 24, 2019. VanMeter caught up with a fastball from Jhoulys Chacín and drove the baseball 463 feet with an exit velocity of 106.9 mph. The home run was VanMeter’s second of 2019.

6. Avisaíl García — 464 feet

No stranger to tape measure home runs at many parks around the majors — including Rogers Centre and Progressive Field — Avisaíl García earned a spot on the AFF list thanks to a blast on June 3, 2021. The outfielder demolished an offering from Arizona’s Seth Frankoff, crushing the baseball 464 feet with an exit velocity of 109.1 mph for his 11th long ball of the season. The baseball banged off the scoreboard in center field, which is a rare sight at this ballpark.

5. Matt Holliday — 466 feet

Matt Holliday hit more than 300 home runs in his career, and his May 30, 2015 blast at the then-Miller Park is still one of the longest balls ever hit at this park. Holliday connected on a slider from Jhan Mariñez with an exit velocity of 110 mph, driving the baseball 466 feet to left-center field. The home run was Holliday’s ninth of the season and landed at the top of the outfield bleachers.

4. Kyle Schwarber — 473 feet

Chicago’s Kyle Schwarber is the proud owner of the only grand slam on this list —  a 473-foot shot hit off Zach Davies on July 28, 2019. The home run, which came on a slider up in the zone, had an exit velocity of 113.8 mph and landed in the upper rows of the second deck. It was Schwarber’s 23rd home run of the season and still stands up as the longest of his career.

3. Ryan Braun — 474 feet

Ryan Braun’s 474-foot home run off a Tim Lincecum fastball on May 25, 2015 soared over the left-center field bleachers at American Family Field, bringing the Milwaukee fans to their feet in celebration of a memorable feat. The home run, Braun’s 12th of the season, had an exit velocity of 112.9 mph and was Braun’s longest in the Statcast era.

2. Travis Shaw — 478 feet

It’s very rare for a non-batting practice home run to reach the third deck at American Family Field, but that’s exactly where a long ball from Milwaukee’s Travis Shaw went on April 20, 2017. The monstrous 478-foot shot off Carlos Martinez deflected off the facing of the third deck in right-center field and fell to the second-level seats, making a memorable souvenir for a fan. Shaw’s home run was his fifth of the season and had an exit velocity of 113.7 mph.

1. Marcell Ozuna — 479 feet

Marcell Ozuna’s first home of the 2018 season was also his home run as a Cardinal, and holds top spot for the longest hit at American Family Field in the Statcast era. The outfielder demolished a fastball from Chase Anderson with a whopping exit velocity of 117.2 mph, clubbing the baseball 479 feet to left-center field. The baseball, hit on April 3, hit the back wall of the ballpark and would’ve left the park entirely had the park been open.

The 10 Longest Home Runs at American Family Field are:

1. Marcell Ozuna — 479 feet

2. Travis Shaw — 478 feet

3. Ryan Braun — 474 feet

4. Kyle Schwarber — 473 feet

5. Matt Holliday — 466 feet

7. Josh VanMeter — 463 feet
