Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park offers cheesesteaks, an impressive view of the city’s downtown skyline and home runs. Lots of home runs.

In this list, we’re counting down the 10 longest home runs at Citizens Bank Park through the 2021 season. It’s important to note that these home runs are only from 2015 onward, when MLB’s Statcast began to officially track the distance of each MLB home run. This list includes a young Braves slugger who is known for his tape measure home runs, one of the most prolific Phillies home run hitters in recent years and, as you might expect, Bryce Harper — but does he lay claim to the top spot? Here’s a look at the 10 longest home runs at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

10. Jayson Werth — 453 feet

Jayson Werth kicks off our list with a bang, thanks to a 453-foot blast on August 31, 2016. Facing Philadelphia’s Adam Morgan, Werth pounded a fastball to center field with an exit velocity of 107.2 mph. The baseball sailed high over the outfield fence, bouncing off the camera well atop the Citizens Bank Park batters eye. The home run was Werth’s 20th of the season.

9. Ryan Howard — 455 feet

Ryan Howard hit plenty of impressive home runs for Philadelphia, but his grand slam that came on August 12, 2016 is one that the Phillies faithful remember fondly. Howard squared up a fastball from Colorado‘s Jon Gray and hit it 455 feet into the visitors bullpen in right-center field. The home run had an exit velocity of 108.8 mph and brought the CBP fans to their feet — including former Philly slugger Jim Thome, who was in attendance.

7 (t). Adam Duvall — 458 feet

Miami’s Adam Duvall earns a seventh-place tie on this list for his long ball that came on June 30, 2021. Duvall hit a low changeup from Aaron Nola 458 feet into the second deck in left field, appearing to surprise some fans who didn’t likely expect to see any baseballs hit close to them. The blast had an exit velocity of 112.1 mph and was Duvall’s 18th home run of the season.

7 (t). Bryce Harper — 458 feet

A list of long home runs at Citizens Bank Park can’t exist without Bryce Harper, right? On July 16, 2019, in his first year with the Phillies, Harper drilled a Walker Buehler fastball 458 feet for his 17th home run of the year. The long ball had an exit velocity of 107.6 mph and caromed off the center field camera well above the batters eye. Perhaps most impressive, it wasn’t even his longest home run of the season.

6. Jorge Alfaro — 459 feet

Phillies catcher Jorge Alfaro only hit five home runs in 2017, but his long ball on September 14 is one to remember. Alfaro had perfect timing against a curveball from Miami’s Vance Worley, driving the ball 459 feet into the second deck in left field. The hit had an exit velocity of 109.6 mph.

5. Ronald Acuña Jr. — 460 feet

Atlanta’s Ronald Acuña Jr. is the proud owner of three of the four longest home runs hit at Truist Park, but he’s showed some pop in the City of Brotherly Love, too. In the third inning of a game on June 8, 2021, Acuña Jr. connected on an Aaron Nola fastball with an exit velocity of 116 mph. The ball landed 460 feet from home plate in the second-last row of the second deck in left field — an area that baseballs rarely visit at CBP. The blast was the outfielder’s 18th of the season.

4. Cameron Rupp — 461 feet

Cameron Rupp hit nine home runs for the Phillies in 2015, but none went farther than his long ball against Jacob deGrom on August 24. The Philadelphia catcher connected on a deGrom fastball with an exit velocity of 110 mph, driving the ball 461 feet to the visitors bullpen in deep center field.

3. Bryce Harper — 465 feet

Every home run hitter loves to find his swing early upon joining a new team, and Bryce Harper didn’t waste much time in 2019. On March 30, in just his second game with the Phillies, Harper smacked a Jesse Biddle fastball 465 feet with an exit velocity of 113.7 mph. The second deck blast made Harper’s recently signed $330 million contract feel like it was worth every penny for the Philadelphia fan base.

2. Bryce Harper — 466 feet

Ashburn Alley is a good place to buy a cheesesteak during your visit to Citizens Bank Park, but during a game on May 18, 2019, fans in this area had an up-close view of Bryce Harper’s longest home run at the ballpark. Harper pummeled a fastball from Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela 466 feet, surpassing his March 30 long ball by just one foot. The home run had an exit velocity of 114.1 mph.

1. Franchy Cordero — 474 feet

Franchy Cordero hit just one big league home run in 2021, but the blast by the Boston OF/1B was one to remember. Cordero drilled a Zack Wheeler fastball a whopping 474 feet with an exit velocity of 118.6 mph, reaching the Ashburn Alley concourse area in deep right-center field. The May 5 blast goes down as the longest home run at Citizens Bank Park in the Statcast era.
