You shouldn’t make any plans to eat before you head over to Truist Park. Whether you want to grab something to eat before you enter the ballpark or you’ll save your appetite for some fare at the concessions, you have a lot of excellent choices. The Battery Atlanta, which is the multi-block complex immediately around the ballpark, has a wide range of dining options. Whether you want to grab a burger or some fried chicken and eat while you take in the sights, or you’d rather sit down for a high-end steak or seafood meal, you can do any of the above in this area.
Once you get through the Truist Park gates, you’ve got a wealth of food options that will ensure you don’t need a post-game snack.
One of the most popular eateries at Truist Park is the Coors Light Chop House, located in right field, just inside of the Chop House Gate. It has outdoors and restaurant-style seating and an extensive food and drink menu. Another restaurant-style eatery that may appeal to you before the game or even during it is the Terrapin Taproom, located at Section 160. It offers an impressive menu of southern fare, including barbecue plates, smoked wings, pimento cheese on a bun and brisket chili. It also has a number of beers on tap, including several from the Terrapin Beer Company, based in nearby Athens.
Did your tour of The Battery Atlanta work up a big appetite? Try the 18-inch pizza slice from The Slice concession stand, located at Sections 150, 161, 215, 239 and 343, or dig into a selection of tacos from the Taco Factory stand (Sections 151 and 313) or cart (Sections 160, 230 and 300).
Other notable options include sausages from celebrity chef Hugh Acheson’s 1st and 3rd Sausage Shack (Section 130), the famous handmade burgers at H and F Burger (Sections 137 and 159), potato and sweet potato fries at Potato Cutter (Section 138) and barbecue sandwiches and nachos at SmokeyQ (Sections 116, 233, 317, 339 and 343).
If you’re looking for a brand that you recognize, you might be interested in checking out the Waffle House cart (Section 130) or concession stand (on the Xfinity Rooftop) for this chain restaurant’s famous hash brown bowls or waffles. Or, you might be in favor of a chicken sandwich, chicken wrap, or chicken nuggets off the Chick-fil-A menu — and don’t forget the milkshake, of course. Truist Park has Chick-fil-A concession stands behind Sections 143, 244 and 320. Both Waffle House and Chick-fil-A are Georgia-based companies.
