There’s no shortage of parking options around Guaranteed Rate Field, which makes finding a place to leave your vehicle for a White Sox game a breeze. There’s enough open space around the South Side ballpark that the Sox have a number of official parking lots for fans. In fact, parking for a Sox game is considerably easier and more affordable than parking at Wrigley Field on the North Side of Chicago.
Lots A, B, C, D and E are very close to the ballpark; lots F, G and L are a farther distance away, but still fairly manageable. Parking at any of these lots ranges between $20 and $30, depending on the day of the week. If you’re interested in tailgating before the game, Lots B and E have dedicated space for this activity.
If you’re visiting the Windy City without access to a vehicle, it makes sense to travel to Guaranteed Rate Field on the Chicago Transit Authority “L” train. It’s a good idea to choose a hotel that is near one of the Red Line stations, as this will allow you to ride the “L” to the Sox-35th Station. It’s situated within sight of the ballpark and you’ll see lots of other baseball fans and stadium employees using this method of transportation on game days.
