Buffalo is the birthplace of Buffalo chicken wings, and fortunately, they’re on the menu at Coca-Cola Field. If you’re in the mood for wings, you can get an order at Ballpark Wings ‘n Things, located in the concourse behind Section 122, in the right field corner. Once you get your wings, you can spice and sauce them up with packets of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, which are available at the concession stand.
If nachos are your thing, Coca-Cola Field has a decent selection of this south-of-the-border fare. Look for the nachos with the funny names — the Billy Bayou nachos are loaded and the Ruprict nachos are vegetarian friendly, for example. A taco salad and enormous tacos are also on the menu.
Before the game, consider a stop at Pettibones Grille, which is attached to Coca-Cola Field and accessible off Washington Street. It’s got a wide-ranging, sports bar-style menu offering such items as wraps, wings, burgers, bistro sandwiches and steaks.
