The Whitecaps charge $5 for parking at Fifth Third Ballpark, which is a little high compared to other Midwest League franchises. The Great Lakes Loons, for example, charge $3 for parking in their official lot and it’s possible to park for less than $5 around Cooley Law School stadium when you’re attending a Lansing Lugnuts game. Another Midwest League team, the Lake County Captains, provides free parking for fans.
A part of you might grimace at the parking fee, but there’s little you can practically do about it. There’s no other logical parking alternative within a short walk of the ballpark. If you can possibly have someone drop you off for the game, he or she can do so anywhere along Ball Park Drive NE and you can walk into the park.
