One of the many charms of Daniel S. Frawley Stadium is that it’s extremely easy to get to. Parks located in downtown areas can be slow to reach, and parks found outside a city’s limits can result in extra driving. Fortunately, Frawley is literally under the shadows of I-95, meaning you’ll be from the highway to the parking lot in a matter of minutes.
From north of Wilmington, take I-95 South until you reach Exit 6. After taking the exit, pass through three sets of lights and turn left at the fourth, which is Martin Luther King Boulevard. After you get on MLK, turn right at the fourth intersection, which is Justison Street. Follow Justison Street south and you’ll see Shipyard Drive and the stadium on your right.
From south of Wilmington, take I-95 North to Exit 6 and turn right onto Maryland Avenue. Take another right onto Martin Luther King Boulevard, and then turn right again onto Justison Street, which is the second intersection after you get on MLK. Follow Justison Street south until you see Shipyard Drive and the stadium on your right.
Depending on when you purchased or last updated your GPS, it might not recognize the team’s address of 801 Shipyard Drive. If this is the case, punch in 801 South Madison Street, which is the park’s old address. Your GPS will guide you there with no problems.
